Too basic for a three and a half star hotel. Sone staff were nice but not very helpful. Information about the nearby facilities was rather deceiving. True, the hotel is 5 minutes away from the railway station but don’t be fooled; it’s Wattenscheid station which was not mentioned at all in the Expedia website description. All my activities were based in Bochum, 10 km away from the hotel, so I spent over €120 in taxis NOT happy at all.

Posted 7 May 2019 on HotelsRooms were big enough. Nothing interesting to see from the windows but was not expecting anything. Car park is next to Lidl supermarket so very easy for last minute snacks etc. Handy for the tram service into Bochum and also to the Veltins Arena for Schalke football. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. Bar a little short of seating for larger groups. Ideal for couples or a handful of people.
