Hi, we loved staying here in the past but there were two things that make us not want to stay here again. First and worst there was a bright blinking light on the smoke detector. When we called the front desk she came to see what we were talking about and said the light meant the smoke detector battery was working fine— never seen that before or since. Second, and maybe the staff kicked the guy off the premises, but there was a guy drinking and smoking with his engine running right out side our room. We parked next to him so we could see our car and felt very unsafe when we went out to get something from our car. He was gone soon after. But but next morning there was streams of what we assumed was urine and a pile of barf or poop with a single square of TP on top of all of it. So gross…I took pictures of both his license plate and the gross pile he left behind. Short story, even though the room was clean, nice, and had a nice welcome from the front desk staff, we couldn’t stand the blinking light and the gross drunk dude. We won’t stay there again.

The hotel says pet friendly we arrived with a tiny budgie with a cage we were told only dogs are allowed but the lady was kind and let us check in we asked for late check out she said that was fine the next day the cleaning lady tried coming on and checking out we got rudeness from the morning staff we booked it for return trip we got a call the day before saying the owners have a problem with our budgie and we were not welcome or the bird can stay in the car ! That was unexpectedly rude for a tiny quiet bird and my kids otherwise its a nice building thats about it wont stay there again bird or no bird .

We couldn’t believe why Expedia would list the Sleep Inn in Boardman as a Pendleton Oregon hotel. These towns are 42 miles apart. Better be super cautious when booking on Expedia that the hotel is wagered you want it to you will be in for a surprise like we were. Read the fine print and don’t assume the hotel location just because it is listed in a certain town.

We have stayed in boardman before as we have family from the area, and we were in the area attending a graduation in Heppner. So it was a long day for us, but the lady at check in was super nice and quick. We got the room which was on the third floor and it was clean, nice, plently of places to plug our devices in after a long day of travel. We grabbed burgers at the diner across the interstate and we turned in pretty early then when we got up had continental breakfast which was delicious and well maintained. To check out we just dropped the keys in the box and left. We all slept amazingly well and it was super clean, comfortable and great breakfast we will be back again next time we need to see family in the area.

The breakfast was one of the worse we've had in over 16,000 miles we've traveled across country.
The hotel is beautiful and VERY CLEAN
Also very pretty. We would always go out for breakfast.

I enjoyed the hotel because it was close to my work place and it had a indoor pool and gym the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
