Nice cottage all to ourselves!
Posted 30 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe loved this location! We stayed here our first two nights in Iceland. Best decision ever. Easy to find, centrally located to what we wanted to do, and a very inviting home. We met the owner as he was working on the property and you can tell he attends to his property. I would stay here again and my friends are visiting next month and they booked here too. It was great to share with them how nice this place was and how happy we were. And, we could watch sheep come and go.

One of my best ever stays!
Posted 10 Dec 2022 on HotelsThe cottage is dreamy! Overlooking the lake, the sunrises and sunsets are GORGEOUS. It’s situated close to many of the golden circle attractions but feels very remote and intimate.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in south east Iceland.

Perfect tiny home

Giant windows on two sides offer views of surrounding pastures, the lake, and mountains. The tiny home has everything you need and all is well designed for comfort. Highly recommend.

Perfect Cottage

Fantastic location overlooking a lake, 30 mins from Thingvelir park. Warm, clean, well stocked with all utinsils needed to cook. Sheep on the nearby farm. Very cute and quiet!

Beautiful views of sunset and sunrise and a starry night. In the morning sheep were grazing a few feet away from the cottage. Really picturesque! cottage was clean, good accommodations, I appreciated the nespresso machine, secure wifi, comfy bed, will be back for sure
