The walls are very thin. Was on first floor and heard everything going on around us

Nice bed and plenty of hot water. The elevator was broken when we checked in (late) and we were exhausted. My husband was grumbling thinking of lugging all our kaka up to our second floor room. I went back and the clerk swapped out rooms for us. The woman in front of me was doing the same. Please fix your elevator. Our toilet also ran—minor I know—but had to remember to jiggle handle.

Friendly welcoming.
But, nobody asked / called after our check in if we are satisfied with the room.
We have to face it: this is an old hotel!!!
Bathroom too small, plumping / faucet outdated, exhaust fan in bath loud, furniture (office chair) worn out, windows dirty, AC too noisy.
Considering the condition this hotel is in - the price we paid is far too expensive.

There must have been a baseball tournament in town because the pool area was overrun with kids. Noisy, running all over the hotel with wet swimming suits, way overcrowded in the pool and hot tub.
