Smell of smoke and toilet
Posted 30 Sep 2023 on Hotels2 days before coming to this hotel, I found out there was a fire in their spa. I was concerned, so asked for cancellation but it was refused saying it is just underground floor. When I arrived, I was given the top 10th floor. I must say that the hallway and the elevator was full of smoke smell. The room was fine but bathroom was stinking of ‘toilet pipes’ and sink was leaking at the bottom.
Mini bar was empty, no usual toiletries left such as cotton buds etc, no iron. For that level Hôtel and price, it was disappointing.
Overall it seems a new hotel but clearly have some unfinished stuff

Posted 4 Sep 2023 on HotelsGreat 3-night stay at the Novotel Bishkek! Staff were amazing with excellent English and were exceptional in arranging a complicated private tour.
Furnishings are that clean, IKEA look (and smell) transporting me to my college dorm days. Location perfect.

Was there early as I had flight issues and it was a one day stay and was very glad for an early check in. Hotel looked like new construction and very clean with friendly staff
