My recent stay at The IP Casino left much to be desired. The pool closed unreasonably early at 7 pm, and its surface was dangerously slick. Pool service lacked attentiveness, and navigating through the casino to access it was inconvenient. The bathroom was cramped, with barely enough room for 2 people. A shower curtain instead of a door severely out dates the bathroom and the lighting was inadequate, particularly for women. The dated amenities, such as the plastic tub and faux marble, were disappointing, as was the imminent detachment of the towel hook. There were no complimentary movies like HBO, and the internet was terrible, with an additional charge for slightly better service. Cell service was also dismal. Daily room cleaning was nonexistent, and maintenance issues like a cracked peephole were concerning. The restaurant service was mediocre at best. Don't even get me started on the elevators. Overall, the room was barely average and while it didn't ruin my vacation, I would recommend trying something different. Who doesn't have free HBO these days?

I always love using this property when visiting this area. The hotel is nice, clean, updated for most part, and is conveniently located. However, my experience with staff this visit was absolutely horrible. Customer service was less than average and late night manger was rude, offensive, and dismissive of everything I said. Luckily, before my departure, I was able to speak with general manager who helped resolve some of this issues and disrespect that had occurred during check in nights prior. I will try this establishment again only because I have been going there for years and love the atmosphere and the day staff, but hope they really rethink their night managerial staff. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable.

The room was decent in size and clean but the bed was so hard I could have been sleeping on the floor. The bricks for pillows didn’t help. Additionally, the A/C unit was soooo loud it woke us up each time it kicked on. Would have asked for a different room had it not been 2am when we got settled after an evening of gaming.
