Quiet - very helpful staff - esp. when I left my pass port in a departing taxi - would recommend these hotels to anyone

A modern hotel with old problems is the shower leaked, no wash cloths, and they could not understand what a wash cloth was. Birds flying around the indoor dining area. They had a nice breakfast, but Jesus who made the omelettes did not like Americans and pretty much told you so.

Fantastic hotel; great location for getting around
Posted 25 Aug 2023 on HotelsAmazing stay during Aste Nagusia which we were able to enjoy but escape from to recharge. Excellent location for public transport (tram stop 200m and numerous nearby bus stops, including airport bus). San Mames stadium also only a short (10-15 minute walk). Requested connecting rooms in advance and the hotel was very accommodating. Rooms spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast expensive so we didn't take this option as there are many nearby cafes and pasteleries at a fraction of the price. Was absolutely recommend and would stay here again if we return to Bilbao.

The check in was excellent with a very helpful receptionist (on Sunday pm). The air con was dripping water into the room in the night which caused a wet slippy pool of water that was dangerous. The bath needed new silicone as it was mouldy.
