Great place to stay when between major towns on coast where you have peace and quiet as well as the ocean. You can walk out to a very nice beach, hotel staff are very attentive. A very pleasnt stay,

Good hotel in excellent location right on the beac

Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Can't do anything about the noise from the road but the digger outside was an absolute pain!
Location: Excellent location for beaches, Biarritz and Northern Spain.
We stayed two nights at this nice hotel on the way back to the UK from Southern Spain. Fantasticically comfortable bed in recently refurbished room. Small room and bathroom but everything needed for a short stay. Good food in restaurant and reasonably priced. Only downside was the noise from the road and from a digger moving sand into lorries right outside our bedroom window from 8 am until 6 pm! We would ask for a room at the other end of the hotel away from the road if staying again.

A well-located hotel of a reasonable standard
Posted 9 Jun 2016 on HotelsHotel has a great location overlooking the beach with reasonable balconies. However the sun rarely shines on them because (our wing at least) they are essentially north facing. The other wing looked only slightly better! The room had a rather basic feel at first sight but in fact the fittings were of good quality (Villeroy & Boch sink, Grohe shower etc.). This was down to the décor which was not to our taste. The restaurant was quite reasonable in terms of price and quality and there were alternative restaurants close by. The staff were friendly. There were no shops nearby and Bidart centre (which contains a few shops and eateries) was 10-15 minutes walk. You would really need a car. Going the other way Guethary centre is probably 20-25 minutes. The hotel has a very nice lounge and outside decking and eating areas (with sun loungers and patio furniture) overlooking the beach.

Pros: Very different from usual hotels.Enjoyed evening meal and breakfast.
Location: Although I personally don't surf I thought it looked a great place for it.
Arrived early evening had a very good meal with a glass of wine.All staff were pleasant and helpful.

Pros: Location and very friendly staff. Breakfast really good.
Cons: Maybe the evening menus could be extended but that's all
We only stayed one night but it was superb for the price. We will be going back as soon as possible. Location fabulous.
