NO Towels. NO hand soap. NO working ice machines. NO working pool. Breakfast wasn’t appealing. NO cable and TV service is terrible. Deactivated our keys every 24 hours when the rooms were rented for 2 days. I traveled to Iowa for multiple high-school graduations. I come to town a couple of times a year and this was my 4th time staying here over the last 2 year. This place has continued to go down hill. Last experience in Dec 2023 wasn’t five star, but rooms were clean and quiet and since I’m always traveling with my dog-pet friendliness is important. The hotel is in a quiet and safe area. We Arrived at 5pm and since my last visit in Dec 2023 you can see the lack of maintenance from the entry way onto the property. Grass hasn’t been cut, trash had not been removed, and the building just looked a little run down. Could be the new hotel across the road casting an over shadow, but none the less the place needs some maintenance. The foyer looks great so I wasn’t too concerned after walking inside for check in. My check in was fine, pricing was great, and the property is dog friendly (have a yorkie) the employees seemed friendly, but hard to understand the women at the front desk. Get to my rooms and guess what?… Not a single towel in either of our rooms!!! There’s a lot I can tolerate, but no towels???I booked my rooms 3 weeks ago. I drove 4 hours and to arrive and not to have a towel in sight really infuriated me. I paid. They got their money.

The non English speakers at the front desk are not well trained. I could not get a copy of my invoice when I checked out because she didn't know what I wanted and she didn't know how to load paper on the printer. I know this location is a new

We picked this place because of the pool and when we checked in front desk said the pool and hot tub were under maintenance still, which we had read the same from earlier reviews figured it would have been fix by then, the breakfast was no good. Room was clean and comfortable.

I have stayed here before and the staff was nice and helpful but since new “management” has taken over, I have seen a major decline in the quality of the facility. They did not have the suite that I reserved for 5 people available when I checked in. They had overbooked even though I reserved my room over a week in advance. They said I would have to pay to book another room, which I had no choice but to. Once we got to the rooms we noticed that the trash had not been taken out and there was only one very dingy wash cloth in both rooms. The pool and hot tub were also not available for use. I will never stay here again.

No towels in our room. At first they said they were sold out and did not have anymore towels or washrags. Finally after getting upset they gave us pool towels, no washrags. They did not deliver the towels. I had to go down to the desk and get them. Not very customer friendly.whoever head of a hotel that did not have enough towels?

Clean other than the wash clothes. Had lipstick on them. Bed was very comfortable. You can't beat the price and the cleanliness. Needs some major landscaping and mowing.
