The room was good. The access to the Aqua Park is a highlight. It's next to a mall so quite convenient if you want to do some shopping. Also not far for the city center, easily accessible by tram.

Not worth the money

The first room shower drain didn't work and nearly floodwd the bathroom. The 2nd room had no soap in the dispensers and the air conditioner was stuck at 25 C (very uncomfortable unless you like to sleep naked without blankets). Staff was sympathetic but in the end nothing they ckuld do and was too late in the evening to change rooms again. Hotel manager reached out after comment sent to Corporate and insulted my ability to operate an air conditioner rather than try to remediate the issue. NOT worth the 200 CHF for the room, restaurant was really nice but expensive too. 80 CHF for 2 Chicken Caesar Salads and 2, 100ml glasses of wine.

We also asked a technician to check the functions of the air conditioning. There are no error messages. We are happy about that.We think it's a shame that you rate us so poorly for the third time on the same issue. You have made your own decision to book with us at a certain price. We have published very attractive and real pictures so that your decision could have been made differently in the process. There are also other hotels available to you at a significantly reduced price in the wide area surrounding Bern.Our prices in the restaurant are very well in line with the average of all restaurants in this area and in Switzerland. What can you say. Got to be best place to stay. Got everything for everyone. Transport links are superb and free as part of hotel. Having a mall next door awesome. And the waterpark, got to be best, love the salt water immersion pool

Decent stay

Hotel ok, rooms very small, ours didn't have the right beds on check in. Clean and tidy, can also use the pools and spa in the Westside resort which is really good- Bernaqua if people are interested, great for kids

Comfortable hotel with a perk!

Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at the Bern-Westside Hotel. It's comfortable, clean, and attached to a mall, and we received a 3-hour ticket to enjoy daily the Bernacqua Water Park located inside the mall. The kids and I had a blast! Public transportation to Bern’s Old Town is plenty and about 20 minutes. We recommend this hotel! PS: the only downside is that we requested foldable beds for our rooms to accommodate 2 children (16 and 11 years old) and the hotel staff said that it was not possible. When we got there, there were 2 foldable beds in two of the 3 rooms that we have booked. Thus, we booked unnecessarily the third room after the staff said that each room could accommodate only 2 guests.
