Our first time in Berlin. We wanted an hotel that was close enough to walk to Brandenburg Gate, The Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz and Tiergarten and, of course, Checkpoint Charlie. This location did not disappoint.
Exceptionally quiet room, no disturbances whatsoever and option to not have our room cleaned every day, and with the benefit of a drinks voucher to use in the bar, although we didn't actually use them.
The room was spacious, comfortable and had a safe and kitchenette. We did not use the latter, except for the fridge.
Breakfast was very varied and well worth having.
Stadtmitte and Kochstrasse U-Bahn stations easily accessible.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Overall, highly recommended.

They put us in a room above the bar, music all night. My father is 70yo and he wasn’t happy. They moved us to another room but this shouldn’t happen in the first place. Hotels are for sleeping, consider the guests.
