It’s a trip to visit Europe for celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We are very happyto stay at Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz. We received a lovely hand drawing greeting card and chocolates in our room when we arrived, as you can see the picture I attached. It was such a sweet surprise to us.

Everything in this hotel are perfectly arranged, you can purchase a room with a light evening meals included if you don’t feel like dining out every night. The light evening meals are just perfect for us. Location of this hotel is the best, you can walk to everywhere, the harbour, central rail station, market square, fish market.. and even a self-service laundromat is located not far from the hotel. Yet, it’s very quiet. We just love this hotel and highly recommend it.

This was an absolutely beautiful, unique hotel! The room was perfect, all the facilities were gorgeous and in great shape. Fantastic breakfast as well!

A very unique and stylish property. Centrally located to all the popular spots in Bryggen. The breakfast buffet truly achieves its reputation. What a spread! My only note is that the rooms are tiny. Very stylish, but tiny. We were only there a day, so it didn’t matter.

Great location! Very close to restaurants, shopping, transportation etc. (1 block off Main Street). Hotel staff very friendly and helpful! We had gotten to the hotel early after getting off our cruise ship and they found us a room right away. We weren’t expecting that and were happy they said they had luggage storage if needed. Room is small but very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

Pros: great central location, really friendly and helpful staff, easy parking, and a phenomenal breakfast buffet. Comfy bed and clean once you are in the room. Free coffee in the lounge
Cons: dirty hallways and ugly outdated carpet and wall colors. Looks like a cheap hotel. Furniture in the rooms is dated.
