Parking. There is a pay to park lot across the street that has 3 free parking spots reserved for the hotel. Ten yards down there are 2 spaces, off the street, but the only access is if you drive down the sidewalk from the paid lot. The curb is not low enough to drive over. If there is any other parking, I couldn't find it. I don't know what most of their guests do. There were a few small insects in the bathroom. I arrived at around 2 pm and from 11 am to 3pm the reception desk is unstaffed. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast is very good, and the staff are very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded a room upon arrival and enjoyed the local recommendations provided.

Great Hotel!
Posted 30 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe location is perfect, you get a beautiful view of Berchtesgaden from the breakfast hall. Plus it is a 5 minute walk to the central bus/train station, and close to beautiful trails.

Great breakfast with a stunning view! Rooms quite spacious but very outdated. Near bus stop and laundry store. Staff helped us with our luggages. But a little awful smell when entering the hotel.

Lovely hotel with good breakfasts
Posted 3 Oct 2023 on HotelsOkay, so Berchtesgaden is the jewel but this hotel helps. Located just up the hill from the train station, with a lovely restaurant view and reasonable prices, I can't help but recommend the place. The staff were really friendly too.
I enjoyed my stay in Berchtesgaden. I just wish I'd stayed longer.

Great location with easy trail access to the train station. Not quite sound proof so you do hear other guests coming in late at night. Staff is very helpful and answered all of my questions. Taking a dip in the pool was very pleasant after a long day of traveling and trekking.

Ok for one night but up a Steep Hill
Posted 19 Aug 2023 on HotelsFine for one night. No AC, no refrigerator. Breakfast was good. It is up a hill from the train station.room was small and bed so/so. I recomend staying accross from train station on flat ground with AC.
