Posted 7 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe had an amazing and relaxed time at this place. Service was excellent, the meals were delicious and we had an amazing server who was very attentive. Room was clean and modern looking, amenities were great. Loved the in-room bath. Will definitely go back again if we are in Beppu.

We loved our room with private onsen. The views were beautiful. The staff were beyond amazing and the food excellent!!!

It is a very nice property with a nice view, but suggest that you book 1F rooms if not you will not have any view.
I booked Japanese Western Style Room with Half Open-air Bath, 1F. The onsen in the room is really nice and so enjoyable when you are back after a busy day of driving around. The location is good too, very near to Beppu city in a few minutes by car. Also suggest that you rent a car, it is much easier.
The breakfast is really good too, the pure Japanese tradition, the restaurant room has a beautiful view too with large windows. We had dinner as well, which is also very good.
I have rated cleanliness poor, because our room was not cleaned on our second day when back at around 56pm, we were told that they forgot (although only 2 rooms were occupied, it was not a busy time). For the price tag (SGD360 / night) cleaning a room is not something that can be missed. I expect the room to be cleaned. Since it was after 6pm they simply removed the trash but they did not tidy the room up, a bit disappointing. Without this issue I would give a better rating because all the other aspects are good.

Comfort Emails were received from both expedia and hotel when our train got delayed and couldnt have arrived on time before the desired dinner time.. that definitely can sooth our tension during then..

The staff were very helpful and willing to accommodate our needs. We had experienced a delay in check-in and dinner due to a train incident, and the staff have dealt with it very professionally. They were willing to reserve the dinner for us without incurring any additional costs. The public onsen for women is on the small side but very nice and pleasant nonetheless.

Restful environment and not over crowded.

The only part we dislike is that part of our view was blocked by the public onsen.
The view was so fantastic that i could just sit there every morning watching the sun rise
