The hotel is large, but well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The only down side was waiting for the elevator at peak use times, because there were so many guests late March... The location is perfect, walking distance from the train station, and near downtown restaurants

I am surprised the hotel is so close to the local market which allows me to experience this wonderful and energized community of their daily.
I strongly recommend walking the city and enjoying the uniqueness of Beppu city on foot.

The staff is excellent and helpful when checking in and out. However, there has been a huge improvement in cleanliness in the room utilities. Dirts are found in the washing basin. Quite a challenge for the elderly to walk from the station to the hotel.

Amazing. So convenient, wonderful service and warm and welcoming staff. Close to Beppu station. Can’t wait to return another time and enjoy the area again. Thank you gracious team of Kamenoi Beppu Hotel (and the City Community of Beppu)! Makotoni, arigatou gozaimashita (^-^)

Close to JR and bus station so it is very convenient. The Buth was very nice and relaxing.

Room is clean and staff is helpful, but the aircon in the room can only be set low/medium/high, our room is still hot even when set at high. The air con design is weird considering this is a hotspring hotel.
Location: good, 5 mins walk from Beppu Station
