Sheets were stained, got a new set of sheets which were stained but not as bad. Took the original set off and the bed itself had a major urine stain. Black mold in bathroom. Dust hanging from the ceiling. Several wrecked cars (not in driving condition) and parts laying around the parking lot.

The check in went well. The room was clean and slept well. The shower worked good. However, there was a leak above the toilet from the fan. I told the clerk on duty, and he offered to change the room saying it shouldn't be that way. We decided to stay because the rest of the room was good. Then, we saw the ceiling in the bathroom was in very bad shape indicating the problem has been ongoing. The smoke detector was open without a battery! The next morning, we were going to checkout and the male clerk was grumpy saying we didn't have to do anything!
Here's the overall review.
The place COULD be great if lazy owners put a little more care in their ownership. Its older but that's no excuse for letting small problems become major rennovations.

We have stayed here before due to its proximity to where we were going. It’s smaller hotel but okay. Staff was friendly, no frills but okay.

The hotel was conveniently located right off I-30. Easy check in, information of our stay was ready.
