Quaint French countryside hotel

too brief.....but will look to come back for a longer stay. the hotel seemed wonderful and the menu looked awesome but had too many things to do and only spent a few hours of sleep at the hotel. no time to eat.

Lousy service in a great location.
Posted 10 Jul 2014 on HotelsTurned up in the evening to discover the restaurant was not open on Mondays. Breakfast consisted of a warm(ish) drink, a glass of orange juice and a croissant with no plate to eat it on, and nothing else. Returned in the evening eager to try the restaurant out, turns out it is closed again (Tuesday). Try the Normandy country club round the corner, the food there was great and the accommodation looks good to.

Posted 21 Jul 2012 on HotelsI just stayed one night at this hotel so I could easily catch the early morning ferry.....what a mistake. The hotel was really nice, staff very helpful and cheerful and overall really good value for money. The room was really nice with a sea view (twin) and had loads of light from the three windows. Didn't eat in the hotel but the restaurant looked nice.

Posted 21 Aug 2021 on HotelsLe relai a pu être beau à une époque mais il semble subir une phase de déchéance : odeur d égout dans la chambre, coulures jaunes sur les murs, beurre rance, yaourt moisi, petit-déjeuner qui ne correspond pas au menu annoncé, terrasse aux planches cassées qui manquent de vous faire perdre une cheville. Heureusement, la literie était confortable et le repas du soir au restaurant était bon.
Globalement très déçue concernant le rapport qualité/prix.
