Excellent service especially in helping us find taxis at critical times. Good rooms. But inconvenient location- should not be categorized as a Bellagio hotel when it is 30 min walk away. Transportation quite inconvenient, had to wait for 30-120 minutes to get on to a bus to Como. Also no help in getting luggage up to 3rd floor, it was very difficult to operate without elevator. Taxis very expensive. We should have selected a Bellagio hotel.

The hotel was wonderful. We had a room with a view of the lake. The accommodations were all top notch. The surrounding areas were beautiful with a great walking path around the lake, by the river, and through old town. It’s safe and easy to ex0lore and shop. Highly recommend.

Posted 5 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe room is clean and spacious. The beds are firm and comfortable, the pillows are a bit too bulky for us but it’s a personal preference. The furniture, in my opinion, look outdated, but again some guests may like the “antique” types of furnishings. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and one block from the lake. There’s a ferry dock with limited service. Breakfast offers fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, delicious cakes and hot beverages. The hostess, Laura, is extremely helpful, so is her assistant, Giovanna(?)! The place is charming. We enjoyed our stay.

Posted 13 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe rooms were fabulous. It is reasonably priced for not being in the center of the city. Breakfast was more than adequate. Checking in was a bit hard, since this is a bed and breakfast place without a registration desk.

The host was wonderful. She offered us a ride to the ferry free of charge. Very kind and helpful. My only issue was that the shower was so tiny, you could barely turn around
