Forecasted weather for the following day caused us to change plans so we left the motel in early evening and went home instead of staying overnight.

Convenient to Houghton University. Clean. Bed somewhat uncomfortable. Not 5 star by any means but safe and servicable. We've stayed here a few times now and meets our needs.

Live this small town gem of a motel. Easy check in, everything works great. So happy to have found this cost effective room.

Convenient for FLT hiking
Posted 7 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe enjoyed our stay here very much. We were in the area so we could hike on the Finger Lakes Trail and the location was very convenient. Our room could not have been cleaner. The bed was super comfortable. We arrived in the evening and had good instructions of how to enter the room. I would absolutely stay again.

The place is nice and clean, and everything was ready for our arrival, but there was no staff on site or available by phone to help with a booking issue, so you’re on your own once you get here. If you’re looking for a place to crash for the night, it’ll do just fine, but I wouldn’t make a vacation out of it.

Don’t go near this place! I woke up Christmas morning with a load of bed bug bites. I contacted the owners. They said they would check it the next day for bed bugs. I spent Christmas Day in the laundry washing and drying my clothes to kill the bed bugs, never heard from the owners and never received any refund, STAY AWAY! Bed bugs !

In 4 years we have never had any complaints of bed bugs. We thoroughly inspected the room and found nothing. Also had an exterminator come in to check all the rooms to be safe and nothing was found. We appreciate your business.

This was such a nice place,very clean and quiet.
I enjoyed that it was close to Houghton college which made it that much better to stay at after such a long drive.
