Great place… restaurants and bar were great.. rent a car from enterprise to see north coast tourist spots!

Fantastic, what you would expect from the Crowne plaza but staff were extra friendly!

All the staff were absolutely wonderful. We were made to feel most welcome. Top notch. The Foxhalls.

Nice Hotel, disappointed re use of Leisure Centre

Nice hotel in a nice location. Prior to arrival we received an email telling us that if we wished to dine in the hotel that we would need to book either of their two restaurant in advance. As we knew that we would be arriving late, we duly booked a restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had no record of our booking but told us that there was no need to book anyway as they accepted walk-ins. The annoying part was that the hotel did not tell us in advance that we would need to book the leisure facilities in advance. When we enquired about this upon our arrival at 8:00, they told us that the leisure centre was closed and therefore we could not make a booking. We contacted the leisure centre the next morning to make a booking only to learn that the next available slot was as 12:00. Hotel checkout is 11:00 so this did not suit. We booked this hotel based on the fact that it had a swimming pool. Unfortunately the hotel do not make it easy for customers to use the leisure facilities.

Good evening Bernadette, I would like to apologise for the inconveniences that we might have caused during your stay. The hotel has the River Bar Bistro which does not require a booking, is based on walk ins, first come first served basis, and the Green room restaurant, which does require to book a table in advance. Leisure centre is open from 6am to 22pm Monday to Friday and in weekend is open from 8am to 8pm and requires booking slots. The leisure centre can also be accessed after 11am, check out time. They provide changing rooms, showers and lockers. All this information would have been sent with your booking confirmation at the time of booking.
