We had 2 nights and food was good. Rooms as required. Staff friendly. We stopped over for a break but little to do in Belcaire, its more of a transit village

Voilà une note bien surprenante
Pour noté un hotel il faut y être aller
Nous sommes le seul hotel dans un village de 300 habitants, donc il n’est pas bien dur a trouver………

Wonderful country location.
A smidge on the old side. Shower heads and hoses need replaced but will not take you from taking a shower.
Hallways can be a little loud and doors are thin but when you are tired from a day trip to local 12 the century castles and stunning mountain views we didn't find it to be a problem.
Great service and great food at the restaurant

Good hotel, dinner pleasant, bathrooms need work
Posted 30 Aug 2011 on HotelsOverall the room was comfortable. The bathroom left a lot to be desired though - no proper shower curtain on the bath, no rail to hold the shower head. I ended up having a bath because showering was so inconvenient.
Dinner in the back garden of the hotel was tasty enough and the service was prompt and pleasant.

Posted 28 Jul 2011 on HotelsOld and slightly wacky hotel, don't expect a room like a travelodge, but that is not what we wanted. The owner let us park our motorcycle in his garage and made excellent coffee at the bar. We tried the menu du jour in the evening and guess what, it was fantastic. Very quiet and the surrounding countryside was fantastic, overall highly recommended
