Lovely hotel in the Middle of nowhere
Posted 16 Aug 2016The hotel is very presta. On the Mountains with a very nice view. There is not City and nothing to do it. The rooms are very big not air condition. The bathroom is upstairs and smell bad. The food on the restaurant is good but service very slow. Breakfast very poor.

Nestled in the mountain town of Der Qamar

Pros: The architecture, the spacious rooms, the view but most of all the hospitality of the staff.
Cons: Better quality bedding, and a variety of different firmness pillows.
Location: The town of Der Qamar nearby has cafes and souvenir shops to browse. And the famous Beit Eddine palace where summer concerts are held.
The architecture was representative of old Lebanese mountain resort. The one differentiator was the delicious food and the amazing customer service, led by the hotel manager Fayez. It is a quiet place to unwind with the occasional sounds of children laughing and playing in the courtyard. The night was peaceful with sounds from the valley below of frogs. It was a magical experience for me.

Posted 18 Jul 2016 on HotelsAbsence de climatisation hormis les moyens rudimentaires. Pas d'ascenseur ni accès handicapés. Restaurant trop cher. Petit déjeuner servis par des étudiants stagiaires peu compétents.
