I booked a room for 3 persons I expected to have 3 beds instead 2 beds plus extra bed, the room quite big enough but quite old, the receptionist helpful they can help to call a taxi when we need it, it is easy to look for the food there are plenty small restaurant around, and the subway station quite near to the hotel.

The good was that there was air conditioner in the room. The bad was that there was no refrigerator or microwave. The sheets and the pillow cases looked very dirty and had huge stains.

With a lot of local restaurants and banks nearby. Near to the metro stations and bus stops.

Bathroom smells horrible from sewage drain pipe. This property is like Motel and it needs lots of improvement. There is no restaurant, laundry facility available. Staff can not speak in English at all and using their mobile phone's app to translate Chinese language to other language to communicate. THIS IS A BUDGET MOTEL.

Fine for a few days, but don’t expect any luxeries

Posted 15 Nov 2018 on Hotels
Great location for walking around and seeing the locals! The street is full of great restaurants and near the famous hutongs that are great to wander through. We’re walkers, so the almost 2 mile walk to the Forbidden City (about 30-40 mins) was an adventure and along a big road with a ton of shops, passing over Wang Fu Ching Street. In short, tons to see and do! The room itself was comfortable; all beds in SE Asia tend to be on the hard side, but we slept great. The daily cleaning service was weak; our floors desperately needed to be swept. There is no real shower, just a spout behind the door in the bathroom (no door, or even basin - the water drains from a hole in the opposite corner, behind the toilet), so showering meant soaking most of the tiny bathroom, toilet and entire floor included. The hotel also allows smoking in a lot of rooms, which gets pulled into non-smoking rooms a lot, especially when running the bathroom exhaust fan. Almost none of the employees speak English and we do not speak Mandarin, so communication was difficult. While, again, this place was perfectly adequate for a few days of wandering around the city, I probably wouldn’t stay there again if I was wanting more comfort.

Good location but hard communication

Posted 6 Jan 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is well located, easy to walk around. Good restaurants and markets nearby. The room was ok, nothing special. The biggest problem was the communication. We arrived late night and the staff didn't speak English. Many thanks for google translate, otherwise we couldn't even check in.

Hotel no muy agradable

Posted 6 Jan 2020 on Hotels
Las personas del lobby no hablan inglés es complicada la comunicación y el hotel no es muy bonito, las camas son duras y algo sucias, al menos tenía lo básico, agua caliente, calefacción e Internet.
