This property is clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is good. There are restaurants close to the hotel. The Jinsong Subway Station is a few minutes away by walking. Problem: no one - absolutely no one - in this hotel can speak or understand English. Anyone who does not speak Mandarin needs to download in advance an app to a smartphone that translates. Or, it is possible to use bing.translate.com. All my interactions with staff required translation software. I do emphasize that the staff are friendly and polite. It is clear that the staff try hard to make guests happy. The property is clean. The ends are comfortable. Other reviews have noted that noise from adjacent rooms can be heard. This is true. But that happens in most hotels. This hotel is truly a Chinese hotel for Chinese guests, not foreigners. With some training in English, the staff would make this hotel earn perfect ratings from me. I do speak three languages and no one at the hotel could speak them. It pains me to rate the staff as only OK because they clearly are nice people. Another issue: I reserved this property through Expedia. Expedia’s site stated that breakfast was included. When I checked out the staff tried to bill me for breakfast. Only the intervention of a Mandarin-speaking friend enables me to check out. I checked out with the staff still believing that I owed for breakfast. I cannot explain how that confusion occurred. Also, the staff claimed that they had never heard of Expedia.
