Could be better, could be worse

The hotel was very cool from the street with a vintage appeal. Our room was pretty outdated, beds weren’t the greatest (but not the worst either), the shower was fairly small, cheap & very basic towels (some stained)......but the tv was newer and had a million channels. The highlight of our stay was the man who greeted us at check-in. He was SUPER friendly and very energetic, so nice that I hate to leave bad remarks about the lodging itself. We wouldn’t go out of our way to stay here again.

The room was clean, older but sufficient for spending a couple of nights. The bathroom was the newest the only negative is the lighting is very bad. It was difficult to even shave in the bathroom....Staff great..No problems..Would stay again if needed.

This looked like an old funeral home and we were in the basement which got no phone service or WiFi service. I think the casket storage area and embalming rooms were converted into motel rooms. The room was clean but you could tell it had not been a motel room orginally

Hi Cathy, Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights. Sorry that you had unsatisfactory stay with us. We wished you would had shared your dissatisfaction with us when we showed you the room before you checked in and told you if you have any issue we can cancel the reservation without any charge. We would have cancelled your next day reservation if you would have informed us when you were having all this issues first night you stayed with us. Also we informed you if u have any issue any concern please reach us out in office by dailing "0" from the room phone or walk in the office as staff is available 24/7. There are phones in all our rooms and room you stayed has router right beside it so there is no question of No WiFi service. As far as history of our facility , it was 10 bedroom house built in 1906 then used as Bed n Breakfast and finally fullfledge Motel since 1950's. So our facility has been motel for last 70 + years and was Never a Funeral home. People assume that this was old Funeral home because of its proximity of cemetery. We really wished you would have shared your concerns when you were here.

room was great and easy to get to. the only flaw was that the pool wasn't ready for use lol just kidding, there was no pool, staff was great and friendly, i would stay there again if i was to come back and loved how the motel looked from the outside
