Great stay

Posted 14 Jun 2019 on HotelsWhen we booked via Hotel.com we believed the Hotel provided evening meals, not so. My wife was fully prepared with appropriate clothes for such evenings. We were very disappointed. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. Monsieur receptionist helped to our room on the 2nd floor with our cases. Breakfast was Continental but not worth the 9 euros each. Enjoyed our stay. We went to Le Voyageurs for our evening meals...excellent.

Reasonable hotel in cute town.
Posted 16 Jun 2017A reasonable hotel, with a very accommodating staff, and basic rooms. We were happy to be able to pay a small charge to be upgraded to a room with a balcony with table and chairs. The hotel is in the heart of the town and walking distance to church and Dordogne River.

Pros: Room was surprisingly modern and the bed was v comfortable with nice thick sheets. Town was very old world Frnce too
Location: Lots of really nice places to eat, with canoeing on the River walkable.
Lovely great value hotel!
Was on my own for a night, just outside was a town square with an open air bar / restaurant where I spent a few hours eating cheese and drinking wine before retiring to my comfortable room for a good night sleep.

Staff very pleasant and most welcoming.Restaurant good value and food good.Only downside was the bathroom was tiny and the shower had no curtain or screen so water went everywhere.
