Great location, comfortable & clean but a bit dated. In our ground floor room we could hear people walking in the room above us.

I mainly chose this place for the price. I only needed a one night stay. The room was larger than what you would normally get at a hotel and included a kitchenette. This was great. Bathroom was fine but very small. Main light was not working, but other lamps worked fine. Towel bar fell off the wall,not a big deal. Based on price and room size I would definitely come back here again.

The PERFECT, easy and adorable place to stay in Bayfield especially if you want to be close to the lake ... like across the street from it (the Madeline Island ferry & Apostle Island cruises too). Easy parking. Close to downtown and lots of shops and restaurants. The motel has been refreshed very well. New paint and furnishings. My room was quiet, had a comfy bed, good WIFI, TV with LOTS of channels, a coffee maker, and a mini frig. It could have used an iron, but okay. Towels were soft & fluffy. Shower was fine. The soap & shampoo were okay - nothing special. Bring your own if you need better. No lotion or tissues provided. Overall I would definitely stay there again!
