Took the top 2 story suite. It requires walking up 6 flights of stairs but once there its a fabulous suite loaded with thoughful extra like coffee, cream and toothbrushes! You have view of square below through (small) window and view of city on both ends of suite, one from a small balconey. Includes a full kitchen, large screen Tv in a combo living room/dining room. A very comfortable small condo, one could live here. What a find!!

OK Pension (small hotel) in center of town

Pros: central location
Cons: Breakfast wasn't included. Climbing the stairs with my bad leg was hard. I also wish someone was always on-site if a problem arose (e.g., lost key).
Location: in center of town - most major sites nearby
The two budget hotels I first tried to book were full. I took a chance on Pension zum Handtuch. It was OK.
