Likes. Available free breakfast Close to amenities... Close to major transportation.. Good AC.. Comfortable Bed.. Frig and Microwave.. TV good.. Premium towels generally quiet. Good public computer and printer
Dislikes.. Coffee in lobby and in Rooms. Scrambled eggs served at breakfast poor prep and prepackaged .. Rationed bottled water for guests... Fitness Rm. Deficeint in options.

This is usually the place I stay when I go to Michigan. This time, however, was very disappointing because the elevator was broken and I was put on the 3rd floor. If I were younger and in better health it wouldn't have been a problem. Thankfully another guest carried my suitcase upstairs for me.

The room and staff were excellent . The pool was awful and looked uncleaned. The elevator didn't work and my boyfriend is 87 yrs. And it was a little tough going up and down the stairs. I always stay at Fairfield by Marriott . Although having a clean room is my most important thing on my list. I cannot lie for the $money spent I would of like to have gone for a swim.

Check-in Thurs afternoon. Room appeared clean until a look behind the dresser - pretty nasty. Wasn't expecting the 'every other day cleaning' so the second day (Fri.) we had to get more towels. The third day (Sat.) we told room cleaners we'd be out shortly then they could do what they normally and told us that Marriot changed the cleaning to every-other-day. Well, fresh towels were left, but no coffee or bathroom cups, no toilet paper (we were out) and bed wasn't made, instead the covers were thrown up to cover the bed (didn't expect this at all). Suggestion: upon check-in, advise guests of the every-other-day cleaning and restocking of necessities. The continental breakfast was fair but the hours are limited and begin to early (7am -9 M-F and 7:30am - 9:30 S-S). Not a place we'd stay again. Did much better at the Quality Inn right next to Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek, MI.
