"Basic and easy for last minute stay as our train back to London was too late. Very basic but clean. Warning that windows don’t open. We paid “extra for window” that doesn’t even open. "

"Hotel is in a great location, short walk from the station and close to the main town. Staff were very friendly an helpful- we were able to leave our case there when we arrived prior to check in and also on the day we was leaving so we didn’t have to carry around town- this was an added bonus! Breakfast was a great variety with everything you needed to set you up for the day. The room was clean and spacious with washing products available and plenty of towels. Very comfortable bed too. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I would be of my hotel of choice if I was to return to Bath. "

"The staff really made this stay special… particularly the restaurant staff. We arrived and had no trouble parking - I think if busier it could be an issue. The check in was smooth and the receptionist were really helpful. The room was lovely - the hotel and the grounds are stunning. Food was exceptional as was the service. Will definitely look to stay again! "

"Lovely hotel in central location. Lounges and bedroom uniquely decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the cleaners didn’t seem to clean the rugs in the bedroom "

"We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "

"Excellent staff! The location is perfect to walk into town and explore. The breakfast was fantastic. Parking was a bit difficult, but this hotel is the best. "

"Beautiful historic building and friendly staff. Great location for exploring Bath on foot and nice quiet street with little traffic. I especially liked having breakfast served to the table instead of buffet - that should be highlighted on the website. I was upgraded to a lovely airy 2nd floor room with a bath in the annex which was welcome on a hot couple of days. "
