It was a lovely stay, with very friendly staff. Situated a couple streets away from the Abbey, you can walk out of the hotel and down picturesque streets immediately. They even allowed us to keep our baggage in the property after check out so that we could explore the city one last time before leaving. Very thoughtful and lovely property. I would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a couple nights in Bath.

Room and decor very nice and clean, but there were bits on the flooring, felt by walking barefoot. The main issue was noise. Every movement from the room above could be heard very loudly. I do not think there is any soundproofing at all. Earplugs were provided, but these could only be used at night obviously.

This is a fabulous small and unique boutique hotel in a great location and setting. The plane tree in the square is magnificent. The Cathedral and other main attractions are close, the whole area very walkable. The basement lounge and bar is very well designed, relaxing and a great asset. Great staff!
