Great location and staff, fabulous view over the square.
Ideal for tourists central location
We loved the space of the living area, and modern bathroom.
Good dinner recommendations very happy.

I’ve stayed at The Francis and visited many times over the years, the character of the property and the location are big plus points, along with the service level of the staff.
It is tired in places, but well kept and still a great hotel choice for Bath Centre.

Positives: professional, polite reception staff. Great location, very comfortable and quiet room.
Negatives: part of curtain in room hanging from rail, dodgy remote control/tv, stains on arm chair seats in room, stains in lounge area sofa. Overall, quite nice but..... finer detail in general appearance seems to have be neglected, lacks quality in relation to value for money.

1. Car parking not available. Booked this hotel in part because of its car park. Confusing diversion road signs and not being able to book a space ahead of time, meant that the car park was already full by the time we arrived and we ended up parking some distance away. Not warned of this at the time of booking.
2. Check-in time delayed and offered nowhere to store suitcase. The room was not still not ready by the check-in time of 3 pm and we were not offered anywhere to stow our suitcase while we waited.
3. WiFi terrible. WiFi signal was patchy and slow.
4. Staff were so-so and service was disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
Overall was 'meh' and would not recommend.
