We were welcomed warmly by staff and walked to our room with information and explanations along the way. Room was large, nice and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to our cruise boat dock. Easy walk to tram and bus stop. Staff was helpful with directions. Coffee available for purchase in the morning if not purchasing breakfast buffet. Wonderful stay in Basel.

Nice and clean with a lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Wi-Fi is strong and the location is ideal: close to the city center but on a quiet street opposite a sweet little city park.

The Hotel Rochat was a great place to stay. It is right by the downtown and in a quiet part of town. The room was clean and big even by US/ Canadian standards. Bathroom had good water pressure and lots of hot water.
We were in Basel for a 2 night-night stay and just scratched the surface as to what this city has to offer. I would have no hesitation about staying here again.
We did not use the breakfast option but coffee and tea were available from 11am - 9pm.

Good value, very comfortable. Public transportation is fantastic and the hotel is close to multiple stations.

The staff was exceptional, getting us into our rooms early and helping with my phone issue. The breakfast was way above expectations. The room was very clean and the only sound we heard was the ringing of the bells on Ash Wednesday from the church next door. Short walk to catch the #3 tram. Would highly recommend.

The hotel has the historical exterior, but modern lovely interior. The room was clean, comfortable and everything we could want.
