The room was very small - the shower moint was broken. The shower base didn’t drain well so we had to turn the flow off so it didn’t flood. Service was exceptional - good breakfast - tea service on request.

Excellent location, very clean, wonderful friendly and extremely helpful staff, and wonderful hotel director who will go out of her way to help you.

The room: showed distinct signs of wear & tear & shower was dysfunctional & put more water on the bathroom floor than on me in the shower. Thank god for Filipe Nogueira(receptionist who provided terrific/excellent service and his backup, a young woman, whose name I didn’t obtain, also provided good service. On the plus side, the hotel’s location was easy to find & ideally located to centro.

Reasonable basic hotel

The hotel was well-located in the town. We appreciated the helpful receptionist allowing us to check in before the allotted time. The room was OK for a short stay. We had a balcony, but no chairs on it. The bed was too hard for comfort. The tv had lots of channels and the internet signal was good. We experienced a lot of noise from other guests and from construction outside.

We were disappointed that we were not allowed to check in prior to 2.30pm even though it seemed many rooms were available. Other than that everything else was very good
