After I got home I was informed that we should have had a VIP upgrade but no one told us. Be sure to ask.
The room was lovely. Very large and clean but very loud. We were on the first floor. Possibly would have been better higher.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Barcelona Center. The staff was very friendly and the location is convenient to just about everything in Barcelona.

This was a gem of a property - truly lovely and helpful staff, and a great hotel room. Super clean, centrally located, quiet, and has a rooftop terrace with jacuzzi and bar!

Not very satisfied with the hotel generally. Upon checking in, the first room given to us with some water on the floor and the toilet didn’t work well. Changing to another room, the TV didn’t work and the staff had to come to solve the problem. Most importantly, wifi in the room has no signal at all. We had to go downstairs to the ground floor to use wifi and found that several guests the same as well. The only advantage of this hotel is the location.

The staff were all excellent, kind, friendly and very helpful during our stay here. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to see what the beautiful city of Barcelona has to offer. We were only a few minutes walk away from some amazing terraces, the Sagrada Familia was only around a 30 minute walk from the hotel, and there are a whole bunch of other sights and food options right next to the hotel.

Nice hotel, 12mins walk from the nearest subway station. Room was lacking of natural light and bed was extremely squeaky. My Expedia VIP access was not recognised but I think this is due to lack of communication from Expedia so not the hotel’s fault.
