This hotel is right in the heart of the gothic district yet was pretty quiet at night. The staff has you turn over your key, which was nice because I did not have to worry about losing it and they give it back whenever you return 24 hrs a day. The bathroom was pretty large and had excellent hot water and shower pressure.

The room was small but all I required for an overnight stay. Very handy to the Ramblas and lots of restaurants.

The hostel provided basic amenities and is suitable for budget travelers. However, the lackluster reception from the staff left much to be desired. Despite the clean rooms and functional facilities, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. While the location was convenient, I'd recommended solely for those seeking a no-frills stay, which is what we were looking for since we were there for under 12 hours but wouldn't stay for more than 1 night.

Lovely stay, clean and friendly. Walk to rambla in 5 mins and close to very nice restaurants and bars

Hostal Levante is housed in an interesting, well kept old building. My single room on the fifth floor with private bathroom was small but efficient, clean and warm (Winter). There is an elevator.
Situated in the Barrio Gótico, the location is fabulous!

Walls are super thin, you can literally hear anything and everything - its a very big problem, we woke up several times during night and in the morning due to all kind of noises.
