I've stayed at this hostal in the past and I've always enjoyed my stay. The location is really good as it's only around the corner from la ramblas. My room was fine .

Air conditioning not working. Limited items for breakfast. The staff was super nice.

We regret that you did not tell us about the air conditioning issue while you were staying, since having made the change to warm air we would have reminded you of the opportunity to use the ceiling fan to cool down. As for breakfast, we consider that the offer is not limited since it includes coffee/tea, hot chocolate, cake, juice, yogurt, muffins, and most importantly, a sandwich to choose from among 7 varieties.Kind regards,Yomo Bcn Port

Large spacious room, comfortable beds. Sadly we were on the first floor way in the back and the window opened into other units, so we couldn’t get any fresh air or sunlight. Shower door was questionable and felt like it would break at any moment. Otherwise great stay!

Simple room, but very clean from the room to the bed sheets and towels. Walkable to the Metro station, cruise port, bus station. Lots of restaurants along the street. Walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. 5 mins to La Rambla. Staff are nice and pleasant.

Tamara was very accommodating! The place was very clean and the room for 4 was big .The breakfast was nice we got a grilled cheese sandwich, fruit and coffee was available all day ! The only downside is that the shower was old and water kept changing from hot to cold . If shower was remodeled I would have gave it a 10.

Elevator stops at floor1- not good for knee probs!

I booked someplace with an elevator since my Mom recently had a knee replaced. Imagine the surprise that the elevator only goes up one floor! We were able to use the elevator, but then had to walk up approximately 20stairs to finish getting up to our room! Also a bit pricy for minimal room accommodations in my opinion.

The property itself was fine (clean, nice staff, great location) but it was NOT worth what we paid. The accommodations would have been totally fine for about 1/4 of what we were actually charged. Even the front desk person during checkin seemed a little alarmed at what our room rate was. This was likely a result of demand based price inflation, but it really created a poor customer experience.
