The bed and breakfast is about 8 km from Avignon near a small village. It's on pleasant grounds and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Access is by code after hours so you need to contact them for the code if you plan late arrival. There are only a few dining options nearby and they close at 9 pm.

false advertising

Posted 11 Sep 2014 on Hotels
on the website I had the choice of 1 double bed and a single or 3 single beds. I chose the latter one. When arrived was told that never had 3 singles and we had to put up with 1 double and a single. Also the picture is not at all the picture of the place and needs to be changed. Location is very difficult to find and directions or signs too few.

disappointment

1st. very difficult to find. 2- does not at all look like the picture. this is false advertisement. 3- In the booking, we had the preference of 1 double bed and a single or 3 singles beds.....learned that they never had 3 singles...... and of course we had to put up with a double and single for 3 older ladies.

Lovely staff but basic room

Posted 15 Aug 2014
Pros: Nice big car park. Table tennis outside was fun. The staff were kind.
Cons: There was no air conditioning or fan which made sleeping quite difficult. No elevator as well.
Location: If you want to stay here you definitely need a car as it is quite out of the way. But it's only a short drive to the nearest city.
Generally good experience. Although the room was old and outdated, the friendly and welcoming staff made up for it. The linens were a bit tired. The room is a good size though.

Somewhat frustrating but cheap for one night

Posted 27 Jul 2014
Pros: Friendly staffs, cheap
Cons: everything else
Location: remote location from the city
We arrived at 10pm at Avignon TGV and got to the hotel at around 11pm with a rental car. Even though it only suppose to be a 10 minute drive, the location is really hard to find at night if it's the first time you've been to this area. The main garage door leading to the hotel is locked with a code that will only be given to you after you got in. We got lucky when we get there as someone else from the hotel was coming back and unlocked the door for us. I guess if you inform the hotel owner ahead of time you could probably avoid this but we don't really have a foreign working phone with us at that time. Anyway, when we got to the rooms it looks very dated and nothing like what the pictures are shown. I guess they sugar-coated the pictures a bit. We got here mid July and it's really hot in the room at night. The most disappointing thing is that there are no AC in the room at all. Or maybe it's a central AC for the whole hotel that feels non existence. Therefore, in order to stay cool you have to open the windows... but guess what, there are no screening on the window. In a summer night with a open window you can expect all the bugs to fly into your room. In the end we got like 10 mosquitoes bites on the two of us the next morning... so frustrating... The only good this is that the hotel staff is really friendly and english speaking when we checked in... only come here if you are looking for a cheap one night stay.

Quiet hotel with French country feel

Posted 8 Jun 2014
Pros: Quiet understated French country low-key feel; lovely garden surroundings
Cons: Serving dinner
Location: Glanum and van Gogh at Remy en Provence--both haunting tourist experiences
I enjoyed having breakfast at the garden tables in the early morning sunshine as well as a refreshing swim in the pool in the late afternoon sunshine.

Nice hotel in a quiet town

Posted 11 Oct 2013
This hotel was a great experience. The room was clean, the staff were lovely and overall the stay was a pleasant experience. The town was very quiet so we ended up driving to avignon for dinner, other than that, the place was a perfect getaway from the big cities.

Great place to stay

Posted 20 Jul 2013 on Hotels
Was a great place to stay - we enjoyed the hotel and especially the breakfasts in the garden and the local restaurants - also the taxi fares to Avignon made it all readily accessible
