Very convenient location in Bar Harbor close to all the Acadia attractions. Easy parking. Clean and large rooms with the balconies facing east to see the bay and sunrise.
Surprisingly low-tech with a room key instead of an electronic key. Not too big of a deal.
The reception desk was not very welcoming. We walked around and had to ask if it was reception. The person at the desk wasn't very friendly at all and answered questions in a rather abrupt way.

Great hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff very helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to downtown Bar Hart.

Front desk employees are all excellent! Kudos to a dear housekeeper (Nancy) on the fourth floor!!!!!
The restaurant servers and chef do a great job!

Room was very spacious and comfortable. The gift shop was exceptional ( which to 4 women is important )Breakfast was delicious.

Posted 24 Oct 2023 on HotelsAMAZING!! This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever visited. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and spacious. We loved our view of the bay, the fireplace, the separate living room and the bathroom was so spacious! The people were so friendly and warm. Nancy, who cleaned our room, was the best. She reminded me of my mom, a warm and friendly caregiver who is so sweet! We will never stay anywhere else in Bar Harbor but The Bluenose Inn. Also, they have a fantastic musician who plays the grand piano every night, Bill Trowell. Love this Inn!
