Comfortable bed and nice linens.

Great hotel just a few minutes walk from the baths
Posted 23 Jan 2018We had an incredible stay at Serra Nova hotel. The location is perfect in the small town just minutes from Cajamarca. You can pay 80 cents to take a van into town just steps from where the hotel is located. The Inca Baths are about a four minute walk from the front door of the hotel and if you want to eat outside o of the hotel, there is an incredible restaurant called Villa Rica just around the corner. The food was some of the best that we had in Peru. The staff at Serra Nova are extremely accommodating and very welcoming. You won't regret a stay at Serra Nova!

Location: The Baños del Inca complex is just a block and a half away, very convenient. Taxis and vans to the center of Cajamarca are plentiful.
The room was spacious enough, comfortable and clean; minor complaint: the carpet was shabby and could use replacing. The staff, especially Ms. Clara, was wonderful and did all she could to make our stay comfortable. The Hostal suffered from low water pressure during our stay, but I think this is an issue throughout Baños and should be addressed by municipal authorities.

La atencion del personal es magnifica, te hacen sentir muy comodo y seguro. La poza de agua termal es muy relajante, en si un viaje perfecto si tu objetivo es descansar y relajarte.

Nice hotel, quiet place, but no hot shower
Posted 13 Apr 2019 on HotelsThis is a nice, beautiful and quiet hotel. The rooms are nice. Breakfast is average.
Everything in Banos within walking distance.
I would give this hotel 10 points, if it had a hot shower. Even after letting the water in the shower run for 20 minutes, the water was far away from being hot. It just got a bit warmer than cold.

Pros: Staff
Great staff, very big rooms, nice quiet location. The staff made sure to all my needs, they knew well about the tours, there is a possibility to get a massage in room and the pool has hot spring water.
