Old Inn site in central Portsoy. Grat breakfast and noce dinner options. Close to harbor.

Excellent in every way. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable, clean, and ideal for a short stay. Great food, both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend this place.

The food was good as was the hospitality. Staff were great.
However take note that the road is busy so ask for a room at the rear of the property.
Rooms are bit dated, require upgrade and the quality of the fittings and decor were not good.
Lots of potential at this hotel. Just need a bit of TLC in the bedrooms. Attention required in bathrooms- vents and shower seals particularly.

Posted 3 Sep 2023 on HotelsFrom entering the reception until leaving 2 days later everything was excellent, couldn't fault anything. The staff were friendly and the service was as good, the food was high class and i would recommend the fish platter of an evening, great stay.

Checked in on Friday around 12pm but room wasn’t ready till 2pm. That was the actual time of check in anyway. Went and wandered about the town and came back at 2 and was given an upgrade.
Dinner was excellent and breakfast on both days was great. Service was excellent as well
The bar is fine and service was excellent
