We really enjoyed staying at the Brown Hen. The hospitality and kindness provided by our host exceeded expectations. From being flexible with our late check in request, to the home made breakfast tailored to our needs and the upgrade to the larger room, we felt at home at the Brown Hen Lodge. The surroundings were stunning. We would recommend this relaxing B&B to anyone exploring what County Cork has to offer.

What a superb place to spend a night. Located in beautiful, quiet, peaceful farmland and we loved our own separate unit to sleep in which was so comfortable with everything provided- from magazines, books and local information to fabulous toiletries. Everything was super comfortable and so clean. Gwyneth is most definitely a super host, has thought of everything and she could not have been more helpful or welcoming. She brought in a delicious healthy breakfast the next morning, complete with homemade bread, perfect to start us on our travels. Hopefully we will come back to Ireland one day and we would most definitely stay here. Highly recommended, don't look anywhere else! 😎

This was the best bed and breakfast that we’ve stayed in during our two weeks in Ireland. The room was spotlessly clean and matched the online pictures perfectly. Gwenyth was very charming and accommodating with a great dinner recommendation and a scrumptious breakfast. The beautiful country setting was also a plus. We would highly recommend the Brown Hen.

Die Gastgeberfamilie war äusserst nett, sympathisch und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit frischen Produkten vom Hof.
