We really enjoyed our stay and felt really welcome! The bed was really comfy and the Breakfast was excellent.

This room was described as Deluxe but the furniture was all 40 or 50 yrs old. It claims to have a seaview but it doesn't - if you ignore the view of the street and houses directly outside and peer out the corner of the bay window into the far distance, you can see a glimpse of sea between remote properties but it is very restricted

Host was great. Larger rooms and within easy walking distance of the town, castle and restaurants.

We had a wonderful one night stay in Bamburgh at Hillcrest House B&B.
The room was spacious and had a lovely view. The potted lobster is only a couple of minutes walk away and very tasty. The castle and beach are easy walking distance too. Good communication from Mark before the stay and cracking breakfast cooked by Malcolm in the morning. Highly recommend. Thank you 😊

It was a self-service BnB (remotely managed) which seems to be more and more common.
I would recommend to the owner to not use laundry detergent with fragrance because many people (e.g., me) have reactions to these odors.

It was a cosy-feeling terraced house, and the room and ensuite were comfortable and generous in size. Breakfast was served in a pleasant front room.
