We were happy with our room. It was basic, nothing fancy. But it was clean and it was all we needed for one night. The shower was quite small.

This is a favourite of ours when we visit Ballarat. The hotel in lovely, using old facades with modern interiors to draw an inference to times gone by. The staff at check-in were lovely and were helpful in letting us know about local haunts and things to do. This hotel is great if you have kids, the rooms are spacious and there is a large grassed area for them to run around.

Was a great place to stay, unfortunately did have to leave a night early as my son wasn’t feeling the best the gentleman at the reception yesterday evening was amazing and so supportive

Right next to the Sovereign Hill tourist attraction. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The tv reception was poor and they need to update the taps. Excellent cooked breakfast. Quiet location.

Convenience was great as we were visiting Sovereign Hills the next day. Other guests need to consider the design and age of building and be more aware of the self closing doors on entry to building and their rooms as they come and go. There is nothing to muffle the sound of self slamming doors. Staff were excellent on arrival and came to our aid when the tv did not work. Rectified immediately. Glass shelf in shower a bit dangerous with its positioning, so we took it out.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the accessibility into Sovereign Hill itself. We did have an issue with our air con leaking first night, however staff were quick to help and issue a new room.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
