Rooms need renovation. For a king Size bed they have 2 single beds put together causing discomfort while sleeping. Also the mattresses need to be replaced, at times you can feel the springs. Air - Conditioning regulators are completely useless. In my room the wash basin was choked. Bath tub taps were not functioning properly.
Room Service is efficient but quality of food not so good.
Wifi signal is good.
This property needs a major renovation.

Pros: The bed linens were changed everyday. Towels were provided for the pool use. The stuff service were superb.
Cons: I already mentioned from the experience box.
Location: Nothing to do in Balikpapan , do not make a big mistake when you want to go to Bali.
Actually we were going to Bali but made a mistake in going to Balikpapan. The hotel was grand just like the name but it had its grandeur. It needs upgrading to be back to its name. The garden at the back needs cleaning as well as the tennis court.The swimming pool is surrounded by trees & shrubs, needs to be fumigated everyday, can not enjoy relaxing in the lounge chair, the mosquitoes will have a feast from you. The staff were superb, tried to help us in every way. Breakfast was cold most time as the candles were not lit. There was a smell in the bathroom like sewer, perhaps it needs to be vented to outside.

Enjoy swiming pool and breakfast, good location, have large parking area, save for children doing activity, 24 hour restoran services and good price.

Quiet hotel close to the beach and local facilitie

Pros: Offered everything I needed during a short stay
Cons: Some areas of the hotel were in need of renovation
My stay was only overnight. Hotel was quiet and comfortable with a nice pool and spa and exercise centre.
