"We absolutely loved our stay. The resort was luxurious and beautiful. The staff were amazing. We stayed in the rice terrace view private pool villa. The view and sunrise from tje room was fantastic. The private infinity pool is actually quite big. The resort also has a riverfront walk which is really pleasant and you can hear the noises of the jungle while you walk along it. The breakfast and Peking duck was fantastic. And all the food is halal. I would highly recommend."

"Our overall experience was a 10/10!! The staff was incredible. They were welcoming, helpful, and extremely hospitable. The food was delicious. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The open air dining was romantic and quiet. Perfect for my wife and I. The gym is one of the best ones that I have had the pleasure of working out in. Most hotels have a cardio section and dumbells. Samata has that, PLUS a squat rack, a smith machine, leg press machine, cable machines, and... a boxing/kickboxing area!!! Awesome! We chose to have a spa day that included a 60 minute massage and a coffee body scrub. This was MY first experience doing anything like this, and I have to tell you that they set the bar super high! It such a relaxing experience and the coffee scrub left our skin feeling so smooth. My wife and I are already planning to come back to Bali with our kids and when we do, we will definitely be booking our stay here again."

"This is a legacy property that had been remodeled. The only hotel in Bali that has more than 4 floors (Bali building code, can't exceed the height of the coconut tree, maximum 4 levels). Personally I love staying in this hotel because of proximity to my family ancestral home to come and visit during my vacation. It has prime location to anywhere you want to go in Bali. 10 mns walk to Bali port, half hour to airport if traffic is light. You can walk , bike or jog to any neighboring hotels, villas, Caffe, restaurant, spa, shops, the Icon Mall, and anything else you can think of. Its location has the best spot for glorious sunrise and tidepool activities for the kids and family to enjoy at certain periods of time. The rooms are larger in size comparing to any hotel, I do like the guests activities they are offering, yoga and tai chi classes to salute the sunrise on the hotel green lawn by the beach was such a glorious way to start your day. Stretching your body while enjoying the ocean breeze, the yoga instructors are so kind to make sure you can follow the movements ( it has 3 levels to choose from, from easy to hard, you can choose whichever that your body can follow). Free one hour bike riding to enjoy with the family followed by amazing breakfast spread at Arunika ( by the pool) or Rosso ( on mezzanine floor). The giant lap pool isn't so deep, but nice enough for swimming laps or just to play around. Most importantly the staff from front to back are so nice and helpful."

"Rooms were older. We did not like how the bathroom was as after shower the whole bathroom would be wet! Beds were comfortable. Nice setting with nature around. Wa quite inside and not really walkable but I think most places in Ubud are like that. Breakfast was excellent! Restaurant had great options! Just be aware that they have 2 separate properties under same name and it was very confusing since both resorts also have the same spa named Radha .. our uber took us to the wrong one and we had to pay double :( We were not aware there were 2 properties ( resort is closer to markets while the suites and villas appears to be more new but further away ) Overall good stay! Staff spoke English! Not overpriced. We didn’t walk anywhere as our tour taxi came to pick and drop daily so I guess it’s location was overall convenient enough!"
