Hotel rate is just plain misleading

Pros: The excellent work of their SEO. Really well executed, unfortunately for us, misleading.
Cons: There's a lot of work to be done for it to be on par with their rating and ranking on this website.
Location: While the hotel is relatively close to a metro station, is not close to pretty much anything else.
The rating for this property on expedia is simply fake. Most probably resulting of Bangladeshi click farms, and bad expedia compliance. The pictures on the site do not do justice to the state of the facilities. Our room had 3 small windows but curtains for only 2. Safe did not open and worked erratically once taken care of by hotel staff. Safe is not attached to anything so you can pick it up and walk away with it. Breakfast was included but never delivered even if requested. When calling reception to enquire abut it or any other situation they just hang up on you. The bathroom had broken tiles, wonky towel railings and damp holes on the ceiling. Tap water bears yellowish brownish color. The neighborhood is not particularly alluring and there are literally no dining options nearby except one doner kebab shop and a Gloria Jean's coffee which closes in the afternoon. It's located in the 15th floor of a commercial building which turns off all the lobby lights at night. It's quite honestly really bad.

The worst stay so far

I booked in 4-star Caspian Palace but because of "technical issues" was moved to Empire Hotel that really looked like as 2-star cheap and dirty place. Complete disappointed in Caspian Palace and hotels.com support. I was promised to receive $50 credit but actually got 50RUR (less than $1) because "your booking is made in RUR currency). I stayed more than a hundred places last years but it was the worst experience ever.

Great stay at the Caspian Palace

We had a great stay at the Caspian Palace. The staff were very helpful a few weeks back when I was organising the visa. The hotel was well situated. Our room was clean and warm, and very comfortable. The bathroom was fine, with everything working, and well supplied with towels, etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Ayat. The hotel has a reasonably-priced taxi service to the airport. I would stay there again in future.

Exquisites Hotel in Zentrumsnähe

Mein erster Besuch in Baku . Das Hotel ist bedingungslos weiterzuempfehlen. Es liegt zentrumsnah, Nähe der Metro und verfügt über eine englischsprachige Rezeption. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom.ersten Tag an war es Urlaub und ein Gefühl des Willkommenseins.Es wird nicht mein letzter Besuch dort sein.

Merkeze otobüsle 15,yürüyerek 40 dakika mesafede, çevresinde birçok lokanta market var, temiz,bir plazanın 15 ve 16'ncı katında, resepsiyon görevlileri yardımsever, oldukça büyük odası var, kahvaltısı vasat, ulaşımı kolay, şehir manzaralı, internet güzel çalışıyor...

Une arnaque : attitude inadmissible

Le réceptionniste nous a dit à notre arrivée qu'un dégat des eaux affectait deux des trois chambres que nous avions réservées. Donc ils avaient réservé une chambre dans un autre hotel et qu'ils mettraient deux lits d'appoint dans la troisième chambre! Ne voulant pas être séparés nous nous sommes tous entassés dans une chambre avec trois des 5 lits très inconfortables et en plus nous avons dû aider le réceptionniste à chercher la literie et à faire nos lits nous-même! En questionnant de manière plus pointue cette personne, elle a avoué avoir donné deux de nos chambres à d'autres clients...alors que nous avions déjà payé notre nuit par carte lors de la réservation. Une bonne manière de se mettre des sous en poche et il semble que ce ne soit pas la première fois! Petit déjeuner , il faut arriver avant que les plats soient vides car ils rechignent à les remplir... Et le descriptif de la chambre dans Hotels.com ne correspond pas ! A éviter car il y a bien d'autres hotels avec des gens charmants dans cette ville.

Номера действительно неплохие. Персонал - молодцы. Хорошие приветливые ребята. Но. Завтрак - полное убогое де...мо, такого уже лет 10 не встречал. Жаль что нельзя было бронировать БЕЗ завтрака. Так как пришлось так или иначе искать ресторан чтобы нормально поесть.
