Room was basic but comfortable with a pleasant countryside/roof top view.
The meal was extremely good - the best we had eaten in 2 weeks of holiday.

Welcome was fine and the room ok but very warm with no air con and a lot of traffic noise with window open. Ate in 1st evening but very disappointing. 1st whlte muscadet undrinkable and 2nd red not much better. They temoved the white but it was a 2014 and should not have been served in the 1st place. Breakfast was fine. There must be better hotels around.

Posted 21 Jul 2020 on HotelsReally nice stay ... randomly picked on way to Le Shuttle in Calais ... which turned out to be an excellent choice, well-priced and what a beautiful setting ... safe parking really appreciated as car packed to the gills with holiday stuff!

This was a comfortable hotel, with easy parking, but where were all the guests? It is an interesting hotel with photographs of the hotel showing its history.
The dining room was pleasant, bedroom/bathroom very clean, and the provision of a lift most welcome.

Pros: Did not like anything
Location: Not a good location
Extremely unfriendly and unpleasant staff. We could hear everything from the other rooms, including walking, water being used (sink, shower, toilet).
