This hotel is steeped in history but has all modern facilities. The central staircase is a wonderful feat of engineering and time should be taken to appreciate it both looking down from the top and up to the stained glass window in the ceiling several floors up. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could think of provided and all the staff were attentive, polite and very helpful. Our room overlooked the main road but was very quiet. The hotel is central so you can walk to shops and bars etc very easily. Would recommend.

Historic Grand Hotel from bygone era. Charming place. Excellent location / staff very pleasant and attentive. Rooms decor modern and at the same time classic. Park like settings on the property, so can sit and relax outdoors.
5 stars / Wonderful stay and Experience.
Would stay again when / if back in town …

Old school hotel in a perfect location with high ceilings and lots of character. Breakfast really good and well attended- staff were great. They brought a small Easter basket to my son at our table Easter morning which was sweet. Very few kids in the hotel so maybe that was why? Easy walking distance to the big spas, restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Fantastic staff who will do anything for you. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Great breakfast. Lots of nice little touches to make your stay special. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and spacious room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was great. Dining area was lovely. Hotel was also in a very central location, with a bus stop right outside and within walking distance to the spa /bathhouse. Restaurants in close proximity to hotel. Minimal amenities.

A great stay

All good except there was no fridge in the room.
Other than that, I'd definitely stay there again.
