Very old and in need of refurbishing. Furniture very old and cramped. Bed was good. The fan on the heat/airconditioning did not work...it had a loud squeal when working. Would not recommend this place. Did not like at all.

Stayed one night. It’s an older hotel, the heating system was quite loud and it was cold out so we had to keep it on. Value for money was good.

the property is aging quite fast. floors were worn, was could use paint, bathroom requires serious upgrade. Beds were comfortable, easy to find location close to the highway but no highway noise. Continental Breakfast was poor fair. Sausage patties, powdered eggs, english muffins, bread for toasting. 2 types of cold cereal plus instant coffee, tea and 1 type of juice. No muffins, fruit or yoghurt. biggest iss ue with the room was ANTS, everywhere ants. Telling staff the gave us an ant trap to put out. So any place that has ant traps ready to be used has an ant problem. If they spent a few dollars it would not take much to add some new life to the operation.

The staff was discrete and friendly, the room had a nice view and they are pet friendly!!

Great spot. Staff were very friendly, lots of parking on site. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is the room couldbuse a good dusting.

Fall weekend trip
Posted 29 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe wanted a fall weekend and wanted to bring our 2 dogs with us witch sometimes is hard to find a good place to stay even though they both very quiet and seasoned travellers, we licked out and choose this place mainly because the dogs were welcome, turned out to a very nice place, older but in great shape and very comfy beds, because we ready didn’t have hard fast plans, we planned our drive to come back to the lodge again on our way home

The breakfast experience was so bad that we declined to partake the second morning. Choices were few, juice was horrible and the coffee was undrinkable. The atmosphere was loud and very irritating with children running around and these were not guests children. It seemed there were way too many people milling around that were not paying customers. The bed was amazing , but because of its size there was not enough room to walk around the end without hitting the very protruding television hutch. I am a small person and I hit walking by on various occasions. There were bags of garbage left out in the weather at the end of the unit on the grass partially torn open.
